Lakes of Abriès
Malrif lakes (2583 m, 2675 m, 2805 m)
The three lakes from Malrif to Abriès lie between 2583 m and 2805 m.
Le Grand Laus is on the GR 58, the Queyras tour. It can be reached from the pass on the way from Cervieres. It can also be reached from Abriès after a tough climb.
The smaller Lac Mezan is enchanting in its green setting dotted with cottongrass.
The highest,Petit Laus, is more mineral.

At the bottom of the Bouchet valley, beyond Valpreveyre, in the hamlet of Abriès, lies pretty Lake Chalantiès, a great place to take a stroll or a stopover on the way to Col St Martin.
