Alpine Skiing
The Queyras region offers 90 km of downhill ski runs in 5 village resorts: Abriès-Ristolas, Arvieux, Ceillac, Molines-en-Queyras and Saint-Véran.
Arvieux alpine ski area
With its 500 m vertical drop and 15 km of ski runs for all levels (5 green, 1 blue, 5 red and 1 black), Arvieux is the ultimate family ski resort. No waiting at the lifts, no crowded boulevards, just skiing among the larch trees with a view of the Pic de Rochebrune (3320 m), the highest mountain in the Queyras. Ideal for children learning to ski.
Abriès-Ristolas ski area
The Abriès-Ristolas ski area boasts 910 m of vertical drop. There is 1 green, 4 blue, 9 red and 1 black run. The resort also offers 40 km of cross-country ski trails.
Ceillac downhill ski area
The Ceillac ski area comprises 12 downhill runs (4 green, 1 blue, 6 red, 1 black) totalling 22 km. At the summit, there's a magnificent view of Fontsancte (3385 m), with snow-covered Lac Ste Anne (2415 m) at its feet . And if you prefer cross-country skiing, Ceillac has 36 km of trails.
Molines alpine ski area
The Molines en Queyras ski area has a vertical drop of 1,250 m and 15 south-facing downhill runs (4 green, 4 blue, 8 red, 1 black). Molines-en-Queyras is also linked to Saint-Véran, for a total of 29 runs. With a further 30 km of cross-country ski trails, Molines is a resort that offers visitors a very pleasant stay.
Saint-Véran downhill ski area
The Saint-Véran ski area, the highest in Europe, has 14 runs to the south (2 green, 5 blue and 4 red). It is linked to the Molines-en-Queyras ski area. From the top of the ski slopes, at Grand Serre, there's a beautiful view of the Aigue Agnel valley.
